Zubayer is a UAV engineer, drone technology consultant, and trainer with more than 14 years of experience in the drone and unmanned systems industry across Bangladesh and Africa. His work focuses on UAV system design, drone operations, surveillance solutions, cargo drone development, and the growth of sustainable drone ecosystems in emerging markets. Over the years, he has worked with multiple defense and government organizations, including the Bangladesh Army, Navy, Air Force, Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB), Police, and Coast Guard, providing technical consultancy, operational support, and UAV training. He is also involved in international drone ecosystem development projects, including collaborative initiatives in Africa. His expertise covers multirotor UAVs, FPV systems, fixed-wing and eVTOL platforms, surveillance operations, long-endurance drone systems, and heavy-lift cargo drones. He has contributed to research and development projects ranging from tactical surveillance drones to advanced cargo and kamikaze UAV concepts. Alongside engineering and consultancy work, Zubayer is actively involved in drone education and capacity development. He has designed and conducted professional UAV training programs for defense personnel, technical operators, and organizations, focusing on both operational and maintenance aspects of drone technology. He is also passionate about applying drone technology to real-world challenges including forest monitoring, wildlife conservation, disaster response, agriculture, and remote-area logistics in Bangladesh. In addition to his work in UAV technology, Zubayer serves as an Executive Committee member of the Amateur Radio Society of Bangladesh, reflecting his broader interest in communications technology and field operations. Through Drone By Nature, he aims to promote practical drone innovation, indigenous UAV capability development, and responsible adoption of unmanned technologies for both civilian and strategic applications.
