The drone tracks the PS Waverley paddle-steamer as it tours Torbay waters with a full compliment of passengers heading towards the offshore rock called Orestone; the Waverley is accompanied by a Royal National Lifeboat Institution lifeboat on route from Torquay to Teignmouth then onwards to Dartmouth and the River Dart.
Built in 1946, the Waverley sailed from Craigendoran on the Firth of Clyde to Arrochar on Loch Long until 1973. Bought by the Paddle Steamer Preservation Society, the ship has been restored to her 1947 appearance and now operates passenger excursions around the British coast.
